Time for an undercover mission again.

As announced in my last post, I will become a porn actress in Second Life. The aim is, to learn the in and outs of the business, and eventually open my own porn studio in Second Life.

First step: contact a production company, offer yourself to get fucked for a movie, done! Sounds easy, doesn’t it?

Well, it is not quite that simple.

You would be surprised how many Second Life residents want to be porn stars – for free! There must be thousands of willing models, male and female.

I don’t know exactly why that is. What is so attractive about living the porn star live style? Is it a sexual fantasy thing? Is it attention whoring? Or simply a chance to become a virtual celebrity sort of?

Well, for women that is, for men it’s probably to get a fuck on a regular basis, without having to put not much effort into getting into somebody’s pants.

I don’t know really, all of the above are as yet assumptions, but I am about to find out. Remember about 2 years ago I asked the same questions about the escort business.

I kinda got excited about it and got stuck with it. In fact, most of my Second Life revolved around being a high-end prostitute

Let’s see what happens with me in the porn scene of Second Life.

My first step was talking to people. I became a member of a group called “Sexiest Porn Stars”. Usually even joining this group is not that easy.

You need somebody to recommend you. I did have, a regular reader of this blog who used to be in the porn business himself. Ok, yes, I admit it: I was using my celebrity bonus to get in there.

I started to ask questions about good producers and who they would recommend. Then something happened which got me startled. One of my questions was answered by a woman with the name:

Katina Cazalet.

What is so astonishing about that, you might ask yourself. Well, you know the feeling when you have not seen somebody for years in Second Life because either you or that person had a fresh start with a new account, your both Second Lifes go into different directions and suddenly you get that blast from the past?

That is what happened. I know Katina Cazalet from about 8 years ago when I first started with my very first account.

Now, she is a porn actress and a pretty successful one. When I met her back then, she was sort of in the post-noob stage and I was in full noob mode. I did not tell her, that I know her. It could embarrass her, to meet a pre-porn-carrier acquaintance.

Hence I kept that to myself, for the time being, even so, I was actually happy to know of her again after all those years. Maybe she has forgotten me anyway, so I just treat her as a new acquaintance.

Anyway, back to the story!

Finally after many IMs, to a ton of people in the industry (with not many replies), this guy calling himself Amun-Ra got in touch with me. He invited me to meet him, to talk about a possible co-operation.

A teleport later, I was in his apartment. I quite nice all-inclusive-sky-box. I would have had expected something a bit more glamorous, or more professional or downright porn-orientated region. A private skybox did somewhat surprise me.

He was very gentlemen-like. Offered a glass of wine and we started talking in his kitchen. He asked me all kinds of questions, such as if I might feel intimidated by somebody filming me for example. Honestly, if that was the case, what’s the point of contacting a porn producer?

He explained, that he is not the producer, but his producer lets him choose who to work with. So the filming would be done by somebody else and he would be my partner in the movies.

“Ok,“ I thought, “is the word stupid written on my forehead?”

All this sounded as if he just wants to trick me into sex with him. Anyway, he did not make any attempts to get to that. Instead, he explained how it usually works.

Before actually making the movie there will be done test shootings, for me to get familiar with the procedures, the storyboard will be discussed, and so on.

“But once it is started then it ends when I fill my cream inside you”, he remarked.

“So it is not filming individual scenes by the instructions of the producer as they would in real movie productions, it is basically having sex with you and get filmed in the act”, I inquired.

He confirmed that and also admitted, that it is for him a bit turn on and he many times gets off in real when doing it. Ok, this kinda confirms my initial assumption about men in the Second Life porn industry – it’s all about easy sex.

I was asking him, how the producers actually make money and if models actually make some kind of cut. He explained, that the models hardly ever get any money out of this unless the movie really becomes a great hit, the producers get paid for clicks or something.

He was not able to explain what the business model exactly is, and I guess he was not much interested in it either. He does this for fun, not for business.

“But I want you to accept one condition”, he pointed out firmly, “you will not recommend another man or to act with the same producer without me.

It takes a lot of time for me to get a producer on board. It is to protect my position as well, we hold the producer together you and me. There is a lot of people who want to act, but securing a production company is hard.”

Ok, fair enough I thought and agreed on that deal.

Suddenly he came up with something, which made my drama-alert-bell ring extremely loud (not a bad thing for a writer, actually the sort of stuff we love).

“I recently met a couple who are opening a studio but her husband is a hard nut to crack for me. Probably a woman talks and breaks him. Apart from acting can you help me to convince the guy? Because he will recommend women who have sex with him. Once he accepted you, you can recommend me, as we work together anyway.”

Ok, that sort of intrigued me. In short, he wants me to sleep with a producer to get a deal as an actor. “Why is that studio so important to you, I thought you have a producer already”, I inquired.

And the story gets even better:

“He is opening the studio with his wife and she has an eye on me. She acts herself in movies, so working together would be having sex together with his consent, as its only work – he thinks.”

So I am a bait again. The job is to get us both on board, with that new production company by means of hooking up with the director.

A guy called: Lenord Danitz

And yes, I went for it. Guess it’s gonna be a fun story at the least and my ticket into porn productions at the best. Hence got nothing to lose here.

My dear Readers, what you think about this new story line? Is this guy real or full of bullshit?

The alarm bells I got from reading this is he wants you to do all this work for him so he can get laid on a regular basis and in the meantime nobody makes any money especially you Caroline. It might make a one time story but without any lindens if it was me I’d pass on the “sl porn industry” lol

I saw one porn machinima once and skipped to the end. Uh, I saw some folks make a porno movie once and I was bored to tears. I joined that group The Porn Stars as a favor for a buddy of mine when she first started it. From time to time I get kicked out of it for being mean. Then my buddy puts me back in. Last time I told her nvm.

My buddy actually ‘invented” the SL porn industry when she formed that group The Pornstars as a directory for would be porn stars to find actual porn producers. When I joined, that group, these freshly minted porn noobs told me that I wasn’t a pornstar at all, just a blogger. (I never wanted to be one in the first place hehehehehe). So, I decided to give out $300 USD in prizes and awards to the best lil porn stars on the grid. Well they cheated. Most of em. Oh, well, I guess they were broke.

Folks ask me alla time, “How do you break into the porn industry?” I tell em ” I unno.” Caws i dont. Prokofy Neva put it best when he was talking about Fashion Bloggers: It’s a pale facsimile of RL, imitative, insular, amateurish.” Though, many folks aspire to more, the same can be said for the fashion industry, the porn industry, any so called industry. You wanna be “tops” in the SL sex industry. Don’t go “undercover” TELL folks you’re a noted blogger. They’ll come running.

Never mind, I did find him. He has no links to any works. I would not have have given him the time of day. If a producer, with links, wants you, they will let you know. If I read your blog post right, he basically wants you to only do porn with him. That is BS. You control your own destiny. It really isn’t that hard to move up in the porn industry, it just takes time and dedication, especially at first.

When you are looking for a producer, I always ask to see their portfolio before I will work with them. It is surprising the number of “producers” who have never produced anything, lol! Also, the quality varies greatly. If their work is terrible, you probably do’n’t want your name attached to that. The best way to get ahead in the porn business is to be social and active in the groups. Chat in the groups, go to parties, learn who does great work, and get to know them. It takes time, but it is fun when you are established and get to see yourself in some amazing erotic works. I hope you have a lot of fun in the porn industry. 🙂

      Hi Mandy

what do you think about the guy in my post? Is he really into porn or is it just his way of chatting up somebody?

        Hi, Carol 🙂

I have seen his name but can’t find him in SL. My SL name is Mandylovsyou Resident if you want to look me up. I think I may be able to shine a little more light on the porn industry in SL for you. If he doesn’t have a big presence, he may not be legit, or I am spelling his name wrong. Either is a possibility! 🙂

        Good luck,
        Mandy 🙂
