Untill now all or the characters I created so far ended up in the sex trade, one way or another, even those which were created for a different purpose.

It is time to release a strictly non-professional avatar into the wild.

Candy.

Candy will have her own profile on SLA and will publish a totally different story line than all of my other avatars.

At least that’s the idea.

Candy starts with no money, no home, no contacts. Oh, you have heard that before? Yes, I know, most of my characters started that way.

In fact, those were Jessica’s first lines on her blog:

“Day one. Here I am, again walking the grid of Second Life. This time totally broke. Yes I have no money and no intention to actually make any money.”

Didn’t work out that well. Jessica is almost a full time whore today.

All of my previous characters did sooner or later spread their legs for money. It was an easy way to leave poverty behind and buy all the stuff you need to get a smoking hot avatar.

This time there is a huge difference.

Is Candy Yet Another Second Life Sex Worker?

No. Candy will not be allowed to do any sex work at all. No escorting. No stripping. No whoring. No tips for sex. No erotic dancing. That is what will make the difference.

Her purpose is to show new (poor) residents how to survive on the Second Life grid, without money and without ever buying Linden-Dollars.

Does Candy Have Money To Start With?

No shopping budget for Candy either. She has no financial support from Caroline or SLA Media

She will have to rely on free stuff to start with.

Only exception though:

She is allowed to buy stuff that costs 1 L$. That is because some “gifts” are charged at 1 L$ for technical reasons. I treat those the same as freebies.

What About My Existing Contacts?

I will not introduce her in-world to any of my contacts, clients, friends or associates.

I don’t want anybody to help her out, just because they know it is yet another me. If she meets somebody I already know as Caroline or Jessica, she will not out herself as being an ALT of Caroline Takeda (unless asked).

She will especially avoid my sex clients for not to be tempted. The same applies for places where my clients, friends or associates tend to hang out, including the SLA Media office.

Will Candy Have Her Own Place?

No. Initially she is a homeless little girl. Instead she will at one stage be a squatter. You will read about that in future posts, it will be part of the storyline.

Nuff said. No more spoilers..

Will Candy get a Job in Second Life?

Yes. Not just one. Several ones.

Many new residents in Second Life wonder about jobs in Second Life. Candy will try out different jobs to test them for those. Maybe she will even do a job board or something like that.

Part of the upcoming storyline will include job interviews, on the job stories and reports about how much she made.

The only no go is sex work in any shape or form.

Will Candy Have Sex In Second Life?

I don’t know yet, but it is very likely. She will be an open minded girl in that aspect. Just not with everybody.

The guys will have to look decent, be able to hold a decent conversation and make a little effort. Dating is an option, jumping into bed with every Dick, Tom and Harry is not.

She might as well take over what Jessica had started:

Free sex mentoring for noobs. But I am not sure about that one yet. We will see how the story unfolds. I am not planning every detail.

What Activities Will Candy Indulge In?

Anything that might be of interest to new residents. There will be a lot of travelling involved to find interesting regions to write about (Not A rated for a change). Other than that, I don’t know yet – lets see what she stumbles upon on her travels

Please leave some suggestions in the comments.

What Will Candy Look Like?

She starts with the “Trixie” start avatar, the “Zoe” hair from another start avatar, a 1 L$ mesh body and some 1 L$ outfits (Total cost 10 L$).

Then it’s time for freebie hunting and see how the story develops. Check out her column and learn from her how to survive in Second Life as a homeless and poor little girl.
