Inauguration of our new Bar by the Pool

My regular readers know that I recently moved to the blake sea. I have now a little moor on Toni’s place right on the northern edge of the blake sea. Toni and I are decorating the house on the hill of his land. He is actually putting in quite some effort to make it a really cozy place whilst I am adding several pieces of fine furniture from various different manufacturers to it. In short: I kinda moved-in with him.

The bar you see in the featured pictures of this post, is out latest addition. There was this corner right above the pool, we didn’t really know what to do with it. The bar actually fits perfectly in there as if the designer had this house in mind.

Talking about the designers, the bar was made by Jodi Morana from Xplicit furnishings who I recently met in her shop. Jodi specializes in making furniture of all kind, mainly beds actually and her most recent release is this bar. For more information about the bar check out marketplace here:

Or check out their website here:

You might have guessed it already. Its a bar which not only serves as a meeting point for chatting. It has a set of very naughty animations and sequences – naughty even at my standards. You can choose between 7 different scenes and the animations of each scene can be played individual as well using a well organized menu. What I like very much is, that it doesn’t use poseballs at all (like most of my furniture). The poseball-age is probably coming to an end?

It didn’t take me long to actually „test drive“ it. A few days after I showed Abi our new acquisition. After a sitting for while at the bar, checking the drinks menu (the tequila bodyshots are hilarious), Marlene from the Magic Angels Im-ed me and I invited her over too.

Look at the picture, isn’t she gorgeous?

We played a little silly game ,which had to do with taking off cloth piece after piece taking turns. But what started off as such soon turned into a hot threesome right there and then.

I started cleaning glasses afterwards but next evening Toni heard about this he decided to clean up all the glasses from the virtual mess we left behind.

For those of you who want to have this bar too, a word of caution: Be careful with the tequilla bodyshots or you might be ending up like this:

Want to test this piece of xplicit furniture? Come to our place for a drink or two at the bar! Simply leave a comment here with your username and I get in touch with you when I am In-World and I send you an invite!

Avatar Design: Going shopping with Mark

This is Mark. Well, the new Mark about 2 hours after I met him. It was at the dirty dive wehn he Im-ed me and we had a good talk about what we do and like in Second Life. He happens to be a German pilot in real life and is a member in many aviation groups in Second Life too.

We got along well, and after a while I had to ask him the question: „Hey, you are more than 5 Years in Second Life but you still run around in this noobish freebie avatar, never thought about upgrading your looks a little?“

„I never got around that, can you give me some tips?“, he replied. Hence I offered my assistance to go shopping with him. So we did. First of all he exchanged some money for Linden Dollars. I advised 4.000 L$ should be enough to get a decent looking avatar. We discussed breifly what type of guy he wants to be in Second Life, what parts of his personality the avatar should reflect and so on. It is important to think about this, before you go shopping. You want to create an avatar which is “you” in a way, if that makes sense.

First Stop: Redgrave Design

First place we went was one of my favorite skin designers: Redgrave. There he tried a couple of skins. At this point a tip for all newbies: When buying skins and shapes , always get the demo version first and try several ones before your purchase one.

So he did. I wanted to show him some other shops too, to see whats available. No. He wanted to get this shopping thing behind him as quick as possible. Men don’t enjoy shopping that much.

Next Stop: Vista Animations

Don’t underestimate what is called an AO (animation overrider). The animations for walking, standing and sitting which come with your original avatar show the lack of social competence of the programmers who made them. They look just terrible and robot-like. Here he tried about 10 animation bundles and finally took the „Boss“.

Next Stop: EMO-tions

One of the better hair designers in Second life. Here the same rule applies: Demo first, and try several ones to see if they fit to your avatars look. The models on the pictures in those hair shops are different than your avatar, hence that hair looking cool on the model might not look as good on your own avatar.

Next Stop: Adult Sandbox

Here I actually had to explain him, how to unpack a box as it has been a long time since he actually bought something in Second Life. The reason why I usually prefer Adult sandboxes is that you can actually work on a nude avatar. At general or even mature sandboxes there is always somebody who feels offended by a naked avatar under construction. Bullshit I know, but why bother? I simply go to an adult sandbox – problem avoided!

Oh yes, for those not familiar with the term: A sandbox is a region were you can rez your stuff and work on it. Its used by builders and developers to make things, but also a place were you can unpack stuff you might have bought somewhere.

Here he actually had to do some modifications on his new penis which he just purchased on marketplace. It just looks terrible and unrealistic when the cock doesn’t match the avatars skin.

Last Stop: Wolfsland beach

It had to happen. I didn’t really have much more time. But hey, nothing wrong with a little quickie as a means of “inauguration” right? Just took minutes to finish, but sometimes a fast and furious sex encounter can be exciting too, don’t you think so too? In fact, I am a fan of spontanous unexpected sex, especially at unusual places even in public.

Here a question to all of my readers: Which shops in Second Life, do you recommend for male skins, shapes, hairs and the lot? Please post the SLURL in the comments and tell us why you recommend the shop.

Lets create a list here for the boys to go shopping!

Coming of Age in Second Life

I started this avatar just like everybody else does in Second Life: with freebies and low budget. Now after almost 2 Years its time for a change. I decided to upgrade my looks and to spend a couple of Linden Dollars for a new skin, shape, hair, eyes AO. Basically the whole lot. Did cost about 2.500 Linden Dollars.

Here a couple of shots:

New Caroline In Second Life

Here in my dating outfit 🙂

And I cant leave you without a nude pic of course:

You like my new looks or you prefered the old Caroline? How long did it take you to change your noob or freebie avatar to something more sophisticated? You can send us before and after pics?

Please leave a comment either way!

Nathan the Handsome?

You remember Nathan the noob? If not refer to this article here: Nathan the Noob. The Picture here shows him and me on Sunset Beach. What a change! He looks really amazing now. Shall we change his name from Nathan the noob to Nathan the handsome? Any other suggestions?

Nathan actually decided to buy some Linden Dollar and upgrade his avatar. We did a little shopping trip to Regrave Skin Designs, Vista Design and some others. Redgrave Design is actually one of my favorite shops in Second Life (next to Gabrielle Mayetra). Of course , poor Carol can not afford to shop there, but on my “main” account I have a lot of stuff from Redgrave. For those who dont know what I mean please read: Who is Caroline in Second Life.
