Making money in Second Life | Sales for 3DXChat

I need money.

What for?

First of all, I urgently have to upgrade my mesh body. That free version I have does not allow to adjust mesh clothing. I want to go shopping for better cloth, some nice lingerie and other things, such as tips for DJs for example.

Also, I would like to be able to afford a small home.

I don’t need much actually. I would be happy if I made around 10.000 L$ every month.

So what are my options?

There are many different ways to make money in Second Life. The most profitable is obvious: Create things and sell them to other Second Life residents.

Sounds simple, doesn’t it?

But it ain’t that easy. First of all, you have to learn how to make things. The learning curve for that is a long one. Once you have acquired the skills you need, you basically need to do the same thing you would have to do with a real-life business: Writing a business plan.

Marketing, finance, product development, publicity, finding a location, staff and It’s a lot of work and requires a substantial investment of time and money. Once you have done all that, there is still no guarantee that you will actually succeed, because you are not the only one doing this.

There are hundreds if not thousands of creators who do exactly the same thing. Competition is fierce and most niches are already occupied.

Hence this is not an option, at least not for me.

What do I know best? Yes, sex! What about becoming an escort?

There are men who actually pay for sex in second life. It’s convenient for them. Instead of chatting up a girl and seduce or convince her, they simply go to an escort club, pay something between 1.000 and 3.000 L$ for an hour and have themselves served and spoiled.

No, I don’t think so.

I don’t look the part yet. Most importantly: I have fun the way I do fuck around in Second Life. If I made that a profession, a job, it probably wouldn’t be the same anymore.

Actually, I know so, from a previous life in Second Life. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

Here is what I will be doing from now. Yes, it has to do with sex too. No surprises here.

I become a salesperson. I will be working on a commission for a media company in Second Life called SLA Media.

The company promotes a variety of online sex games. One of them is 3DXChat, a multi-player virtual world, just like Second Life but very centred on sex.

Exactly my thing.

So what is the strategy?

It is easy actually. I simple walked around at busy Adult regions and wait until somebody approaches me with the intention to fuck me. Then all I need to do is explaining why I prefer sex in 3DXChat and pass the person the link to the subscription page.

That’s it. Job done.

If I get only 10 people per month to subscribe to 3DXChat, I make the money I need in Second Life: about 10.000 L$ in commission.

How to get started?

First of all, I need a 3DXCHAT account myself. That is actually very important. If the potential clients have questions or want to see pictures, I need to know what I am talking about.

I am actually curious about it anyway. Looking at those pictures actually turns me on and makes me want to get fucked there too.

Second is, getting familiar with the companies store. I can actually use the office, the in-world store and a small cinema on the company’s premises.

In the cinema, I can show potential clients porn movies made in 3DXChat. Those are hot, trust me. I can already imagine myself doing more there than just showing movies. I know that is not professional.
