“Is this your first account?”

That was Roni’s opening line when I arrived at the Firestorm Freebe Shop after trying on the Milena Mesh Head, which you get now for free on Firestorm Island.

I had to smile, thinking: “You have no idea how many versions of myself are roaming the Second Life grid.”

“No, it’s not. I created this account because you need to have an avatar that is less than 90 days old to receive the Milena mesh head. It’s just for testing for a blog post about Second Life avatar creation. I will kill Laura when I log out again.” I explained.

“Wait with that a bit. I show you something.”

Roni invited me to visit a well-known creator outlet called LAQ. It’s a brand primarily known for quality avatar skins.

Oh my fucking god. They offered free high-definition mesh heads (unfortunately, for the Christmas period only). I instantly fell in love with the female head. Had to have it.

I am looking for a new look for my main (Caroline Takeda) for a few months. Carol really needs an upgrade. I tried a few, but it didn’t really nail it. This one is what I have been looking for. Same type but better quality! Bingo.

I quickly woke up Carol and grabbed the head, skin, and body skins for my legacy perky body – same for Laura.

I did send Carol to sleep again and went to a dressing room on Firestorm Island. I had to try this one.

The result was a stunningly beautiful avatar. Mission accomplished. I took a few pictures and logged out.

My finger was already hovering over the delete account button. But it felt wrong. It felt as if I was pushing her from a high building into a secure death.

She already made a friend, someone will miss her when I eliminate the pretty girl.

Fuck it.

I am trapped now on the grid and on yet another mission: Turning Laura into a drop-dead gorgeous lady – once again with zero budget to start with.

Find out in the next episode how I got the funds for it this time. Follow me and learn how to create a stunning Second Life avatar with no money in the pocket (yet).
