My regular readers know, that this blog developed into a multi-author (4) and multi-character (8) blog. A couple of months ago, the different writers and different characters did have their own blogs within the Takeda Media network under their own respective domains.
We decided to combine the different storylines on one blog only, expecting better results in search engines. The other domains did not rank well at all, whilst this domain profits from a lot of backlinks it acquired over the years.
I need your help today. Please answer the following two questions!
- Which character, or which stories do you like most on second life adventures?
- Do you like the current format, or would you rather prefer to read about your favorite character on her/his own dedicated blog?
Here a resume of the different characters (in order of appearance):
Caroline Takeda | The Main Character
It all started as a guide for beginners. The adventures of Caroline the noob in Second Life was meant to show new residents how to survive in Second Life. Several “how-to guides” resulted from this.
Caroline was also travelling a lot over the grid, by boat, by plane or other means of transportation. I wrote about the different adventures that crossed her way on her travels.
One day she embarked on a mission: Going undercover as a call girl. It was meant to be investigative journalism but turned into her most erotic and exciting adventure. She became a successful escort girl.
She is still occasionally available on demand as an escort. Not as much as she used to be because her profession turned into a serious business.
She got investors on board, found ways to monetize content, opened (and closed) a sex club and currently is building up an escort agency as part of SLA Media.
Her posts are pretty much “show me the money” style. A businesswoman in Second Life.
What to expect from future stories?
Future posts will be focused on making money in the adult business in Second Life and about her experiences as CEO of an adult media business in Second Life.
There will even be a complete guide about how to make money with a Second Life adult blog. The guide will show you step by step how to set up a successful blog, how to monetize it (we are talking real US money here) and will give you a lot of expert knowledge about SEO (Search Engine Optimization or how to rank well in Google).
Because of this shift of focus, you will not find many posts about Caroline the escort girl. If that is what you would expect to read, don’t worry, you still find that kind of adventure under the character “Michelle”.
There might be some posts about travelling and sailing in Second Life though.
Candy | My Teenage ALT
The latest character in the collection. Candy was intended to be the good girl in the group. That failed completely. Instead, she became the worst slut of all. She got a job as a bartender in a bar in a known red-light district called Street whores.
At first, she resisted the temptation but eventually, she gave in and became a whore as well.
What to expect from future writings?
The story about Bar no.5 is to be continued, as well as the squatting storyline. Apart from that, the story is open-ended. Just see what will come her way.
Catherine Palen | My Best Friend
Cathy is the editorial director of the porn and erotic art section of Second Life Adventures. She interviews artists in Second Life who dedicated their Second Life to bring us the finest in erotica and porn.
Aside she runs her own blog, featuring interesting storylines and her own sex adventures in Second Life. She has got a high sex drive and it shows on her blog. Having said so, she is more the classy type.

The way she did that was simple.

Just like most characters on Second Life Adventures, she started with no money, showing our readers how to get settled without having to spend any real-life money.
She is a prostitute. Michelle is Caroline’s new escort girl adventure.

I have to rate Charleen highest. Interesting stories from unseen corners of SL. Plus she seems to end up spending more time in group settings. I\’m sure it\’s easier for her as doing group stuff and making escort money at the same time is probably more complicated than in one-on-one situations.
I would love to see a bi writer join the staff, or to see some of your current staff explore more sexual encounters with women, but I again understand that the escort angle kind of makes that difficult, to say nothing of the actual sexual preferences of your staff.

Candy is #1 because she is the character who is the most similar to myself in Second Life.
Charleen is the close second because even though I partake in a variety of sexual activity in Second Life, I’ve rarely encountered any of the things Charleen investigates and it’s something I want to be more aware of.

That’s a tough question. I have a hard time deciding. Each of the stories has their own appeal. The blog and business parts are the least interesting to me, but they are well written and I find interesting information there too,
So maybe look that each gets something new once in a while and circle the authors. I would start with Michelle, she hasn’t had much stories and Charly, has been a while since her last story.
